How do I restore my AR purchase?
Tap the AR button in a level to open the shop, then tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that you bought AR mode with.
Which iPhones can play in AR mode?
Every iPhone that runs iOS 18 can. AR mode needs the camera: if it can't start, allow the camera in Settings › Symbol Run.
How do I keep my progress on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account on both phones and keep iCloud on for Symbol Run. Your progress and best scores sync automatically.
How does the symbol run work?
When you run out of moves you can tap Do the symbol run: walk 50 steps within a minute and you get 3 extra moves. Steps are counted with Motion & Fitness; if they can't be counted, allow Motion & Fitness in Settings › Symbol Run.
Why don't I see my scores on Game Center?
Sign in to Game Center in Settings › Game Center. Your best score for a level is sent when you finish it; every world and the whole game have their own leaderboards too.
Can I replay a level?
Yes. Tap any level you have reached on the map to play it again and beat your best score.
What do I need to play?
An iPhone with iOS 18 or later. Symbol Run is free to play; AR mode is an optional in-app purchase.
I played Symbol Run in 2017. What has changed?
Version 2.0 is the game rebuilt from scratch. The Jungle holds the original ten levels, and four new worlds follow it. Facebook sign-in and push notifications are gone, and the game no longer uses a server.
